In March 2009 the Red River was flooding the Red River Valley, and the cities of Fargo, North Dakota and Moorhead, Minnesota.
- On March 26th 2009, the North Dakota Water Commission of Cass County contacted ADS to collect multi- spectral images of the river as close to flood crest as possible.
- These timely images were collected within 10 inches of the flood crest.
- ADS ortho-rectified these images and delivered the finished product to the North Dakota Water Commission of Cass County on March 31st.
- These images are currently available for public viewing on Satshot.com and Google Earth.
In June 2009 ADS responded to the flooding of the Red River in Shreveport, Louisiana. Multi-spectral images were collected using an ADS Spectra-View 9W Medium Format Multi-Spectral Camera system. These images were delivered to the customer within 24 hours.
