This is an iamge of some of the recreational facilities in Marshall, MN. The pixel resolution is 1 meter per pixel. Multi-spectral imagery could be used for land cover maps that would aid in the planning of new roads, changes in population due to changes in land cover, tax assessment, commercial and residential zoning, and recreational facility planning and alteration. A golf course and the ball diamond, as well as tennis courts and other recreational facilities are clearly visible in the image to the right and may aid in determining the plans for new facilities or changes of the old ones in the future.
